Somnr is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Somnr app to track your Energy Age, log crashes, and improve your sleep and energy habits.

Somnr is local-first: your energy, sleep, and crash data lives on your device. We collect limited anonymous analytics to understand how the app is used:

• Device information (model, OS version, language)
• Usage statistics (features used, session frequency)

We do NOT permanently store your personal health data, sleep data, or crash records on our servers.

Somnr requests optional read-only access to HealthKit to retrieve sleep data and step count. This data is used exclusively to calculate your Energy Age and is never transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties. You can deny HealthKit access at any time — the app will fall back to self-reported data.

When you share a video URL into Somnr via the iOS share extension, the URL is sent to our backend for transcription and step extraction. Processed content is used solely to generate your routine verdict and is not stored after delivery.

Somnr offers subscriptions managed via RevenueCat and Apple's App Store. Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store billing information or card details.

We do not sell, share, or disclose your data to third parties. Data may be disclosed only if required by applicable law.

You can use Somnr without creating an account. Your on-device data (Energy Age history, crash records, sleep data) can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the app. You may disable analytics via your device settings.

All server communications use HTTPS encryption. On-device data is stored using expo-secure-store and AsyncStorage, which leverage iOS Data Protection.

This policy may be updated. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice.
